Auditor’s Office Responsibilities
- Prepare the yearly budget for the county and present to the County Commission
- Compile information for the outside CPA firm’s yearly audit of the county
- Process purchase orders for all bills
- Check daily receipts and deposits
- Check monthly reports from various offices
- Complete various monthly and quarterly reports for the State of Missouri
- Provide monthly reports to all offices of remaining funds
- Keep a complete county inventory list

Purchase Orders
Purchase orders are turned in to the Auditor’s office for approval and payment. The Auditor’s office is responsible for checking remaining funds, and to make sure the purchasing policy is followed. A copy of that policy can be found here: Purchasing Policy 2008.
