The Cape Girardeau County Transit Authority Board is a five person board whose primary responsibility is to oversee the Cape Girardeau County Transit operation including the development and implementation of the new county-wide transit system. This includes the development and maintenance of a fixed budget for the entire transit operation, as per statutes 238.400 through 238.412. Funding sources are Cape Girardeau County, Cities of Jackson and Cape, AAA, MTM, SCSF, WIB, United Way and donations.
